Since my late teens, I have been interested in health and well being. I found yoga when I was in my late 20’s and dedicated myself to daily practices. Through my 20’s and early 30’s, I noticed that I was experiencing back pain frequently. I began exploring a more therapeutic style of yoga and found it to be helpful with my back pain. In 2003, I decided to take a yoga teacher training that emphasized the benefits of moving well, incorporating breath practices and meditation and have been teaching group yoga classes for 20 years now. In 2009, I became co-owner of Bodhi Tree Yoga Studio in Penfield, NY. In 2017, I began offering one on one private yoga sessions which has allowed me to use the tools of movement, breath and stillness to support clients on their healing journey. I have a passion for helping people gain greater awareness and presence within themselves. I am continually motivated and inspired to share the healing benefits of therapeutic yoga with my clients.
